Christy is not only an amazing person with amazing energy that she brought to our event, she is an amazing photographer and hands down the best I interviewed through a long interview process over a few months. Christy made our wedding festivities even more magical with her professionalism but mostly her genuine warmth. [During my bridal shoot] she guided me the whole time and made me feel really comfortable. She is very professional and truly knowledgeable about what she does. She understands what lighting and positioning will show up best in photographs. Next, we did our engagement shoot with Christy…My husband was nervous that he would feel awkward, but afterwards he told me that he was able to be himself because of how comforting Christy was with us. She is patient, thorough and considerate of her clients. Weeks leading up to the wedding we were in constant communication trying to work out the little details and she frequently asked me if there was anything she could do for us. Christy is an unbelievable find! I feel like I'm not the best at explaining what I like and she was able to get exactly what I wanted in the photos. I admire her professionalism and the effort she put into making sure she cultivated the right mood for our photos. She sent out a very detailed questionnaire prior to our wedding to get an idea of what we were looking for, which I thought was brilliant and unlike anything I've experience with other photographers. Picking Christy Archibald as our wedding photographer was the best decision my husband and I made. Christy is detail-oriented, talented, and she takes a personal interest in everyone she works with. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she provides support with posing, relaxing in front of the lens, etc. All of these qualities and more are what make her wedding photos top tier. Personally, I am extremely self- conscious and I typically do not like how I look in photos. Christy changed all of that for me. She helped me pose and find the right angles that worked for me. What is also impressive about Christy is her communication and her speed of work. She communicates back quickly and clearly, and she returned photos to us quicker than I ever expected. Finally, the photos are beautiful. Christy knows how to photograph inside buildings and outside, and she makes everything come together very well. Christy is the best photographer I've worked with (and I've had many)!!! Her talent and personality are a perfect combo- she has amazing communication, promptness, cool under pressure, and her photos were incredible. She worked with kids and groups and was successful with both getting some great candid shots as well as portraits. The colors of her photos are rich and crisp, which is what I was mainly looking for. She gave amazing advice on how to pose that looked beautiful when the photos came out. We got our photos within 3 weeks, with a generous amount of photos. I am definitely booking her for future events or photoshoot, if she will have availability!!
